If prices keep falling wave counts change from i-ii-iii-iv to i-ii-i-ii and then lastly to maybe the entire rally was not wave 3 at all and part of wave 2 still forming. An expanded flat in wave 2 can mean lower prices before we go up again. This is just how it is. Not yet concluded that it is an expanded flat, but that is the worst-case scenario. So it's a waiting game for the ideal setup to show up given market conditions.
