Indian 10 Year GSEC yields

19 Aug 202001:40 PM

Indian Bond yields continue to rise as seen on the 10 year gsec chart. As explained in the Long Short report this is wave 2 up and the size needs to be watched. We are open to a move back to the major swing low of the wedge before yields start their decline again. It is a slow advance so markets are not paying attention to it. It could take a month or two for wave 2 up to complete at this slow pace but it may not be significant in terms of impact except in a limited way on bond funds. Equities would be concerned only if there is a one day jump not otherwise.
